How to Install Curt Q24 Hitch in a 2006 Ford F-350 Using an Underbed Rail Kit
Question:
I am looking to purchase the Curt C16245 hitch, But I would like to have the underbed rails. What underbed rail system would work with it and what, if anything additional, would I need? It is going into a 2006 Ford F350 SuperDuty 8foot bed. Thank you,

Expert Reply:
To install the Curt Hitch part # C16245 in the bed of your 2006 Ford F-350 long bed using an underbed setup will require you to use the Reese Elite Rail Kit part # RP30073 and then use the adapter part # RP30156 to convert this kit to a rail kit the Curt hitch is compatible with.
When not using the fifth wheel hitch you would be able to remove the hitch and adapter to have a totally empty truck bed.
