How Does 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector Fit In Vehicle-End 5-Way Trailer Connector

Question:
How does the 7 pole to 5 flat also accommodate the 4 pin flat? That is , the only way i see a dedicated coil 7 to 4 longer than 3 feet is to get one that goes from 7 to 5 and 7 to 4. This seems counterintuitive to how the molded portion would work and engage and keep moisture out, but the Wesbar ones you have dont have a picture or illustrate it - they just say it will work. Please advise. Sincerely,

I have attached photos of a 5-way vehicle end connector and a 4-way trailer connector you can check out.
One photo shows them separated and the second photo shows what they would look like when attached. As you can see the 4-way will fit just fine in the 5-way flat connector. To keep moisture and dirt out of the 5th pin connector you could use electric tape to cover the opening or use a bit of dielectric grease like part # 11755 in the open pin.
I recommend the 7-Way RV to 4-Way or 5-Way flat, part # 787196. This is an 8-ft long coiled adapter.
