Question:

2016 Chevy Trax, LT AWD. Do you have a class 2 I think that is what it is called hitch for this vehicle? I think the receiver size is 2inch square. thank you,

We do offer a Class I trailer hitch for your 2016 Chevrolet Trax. For a trailer hitch I recommend the Curt # C11527. This hitch offers a 200 pound tongue weight with a 2,000 pound towing capacity, but you will want to be sure to not exceed the capacity of your Trax when choosing what to tow. I have attached the installation instructions for this hitch, as well as an installation video on a similar vehicle, a Buick Enclave, for you.

Class I trailer hitches, like the # C115274, offer 1-1/4 inch x 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. Class III and Class IV hitches offer 2 inch x 2 inch receiver openings. We do not have a trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver for your Trax.

If you're interested in towing a small trailer, you will also need a wiring harness, like # C59236, a drawbar, like # 36061, and a hitch ball, like # 19258. You will want to choose a ball mount with the correct rise/drop for your vehicle and trailer. I have attached a help article on measuring for the correct ball mount for you as well.
