Will Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler Work With 2006 Toyota Tacoma V6

Question:
Im looking for a Transmission/oil combo cooler for a 2006 Toyota Tacoma - 6 cyl. Your # D15902 is listed/described as Combination Engine/Transmission Oil Cooler but looking at the installation details PDF file, this only address connection to the engine oil circuit. Is this in-fact a combo cooler and is this the appropriate one for my vehicle? If so, where are instructions to connect the transmission circuit? Will I need additional transmission fluid added to my system after installing a transmission cooler? Would this kit have all the required parts or are there any additional parts I will need to order? Is a combo cooler a good way to go or would it be better to install an engine oil cooler and a separate transmission oil cooler? Thank you,

Using a combination transmission/oil cooler on your Tacoma with the V6 engine will work great. For maximum cooling ability, mount the cooler between the Tacoma's grille and the AC condenser core. I have included a photo that shows the best location for the cooler, and also attached a link to a couple of helpful articles.
A combo cooler like part # D15902 includes several fittings with multiple thread sizes to ensure you get the right fittings for your truck. This cooler will cool the transmission oil and the engine coolant separately, which will extends the life of the transmission and the engine. All of the needed hardware is included.
I have attached a drawing that shows how the lines for the transmission lines should be run. As you will see, there is a preferred way to run the lines. They did not include those directions in the installation instructions for the # D15902.
When you complete the installation of the cooler you will need to check the levels for your engine coolant and transmission oil. The amount you need to add will vary depending on what may be lost during installation.

I have a new 2020 Tacoma on order with the 4 cy engine. It does not come with a tow package so I was planning on separate oil and trans coolers. The combo unit looks perfect. I have a lite weight rv, 3000lb, which is within the factory tow limit, but I will be happier with additional cooling-----cheap insurance. The info on questions is very helpful.

I am interested in the Derale D15902 for my 2018 Toyota Tacoma V6. Does it matter in which position the inlets fittings are facing (To the side or from the bottom)? Thanks
