Question:
What Yakima Mighty Mount model # is needed to attach a Yakima Kayak post-style, fishhook mount system around the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars ? Trying to use parts from a previous car set up if possble.

It sounds like you have a Yakima HullRaiser J-Style Roof Mounted Kayak Carrier Y04039. To be able to mount this kayak carrier on a roof rack with factory or aero crossbars, like the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero, you will want to use 2 of the HullRaiser to HullRaiser Aero Conversion Kit # Y8860031. You will want a conversion kit for each J-style carrier.
There is not a MightyMount to convert the HullRaiser to fit aero crossbars.
