Question:
2009 Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.3liter I am upgrading travel trailer from a 4500 gvw to a 6500 gvw and need extra support in rear suspension with some extra sway control. I am considering the Super-Spring SSA5MTKT or SSA8MTKT. Could you please guide me in which of these products would be the best fit for my application. I also use a Anderson No Sway weight distribution hitch on the trailer. The old trailer hitch weight was 560 lbs and the new trailer hitch weight is 860 lbs putting an extra 300 lbs on rear axle.

For as heavy as your trailer is I would go with the heavier duty version of the SuperSprings part # SSA8MTKT over the lighter duty # SSA5MTKT.
I would imagine you are pretty close to the towing capacity of your 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 liter so the heavier duty kit would be the one to use. These kits also help greatly with reducing sway the kit I recommended would be a great choice.
