Does the Exhaust of a 2016 Land Rover Discover Sport Get Lowered for Hitch Install
Published 02/21/2016 >
Question:
Hi, I have a 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. I was looking at your instructions for the hitch you recommend and noticed in the representative photoinch that it appears that the exhaust pipes have been lowered after the hitch installation. Is this an error or an optical illusion or will the exhaust pipes actually be lower. I am ready to buy a hitch from you guys once I have some insight into this. Thanks for your help!

When you install the Curt hitch part # C13396 on your 2016 Land Rover Discover Sport the exhaust will not end up lower than before the install. The exhaust will stay in the same place. The picture you have found in the instructions shows the exhaust lowered, but that is not how it would look when installed.
During the install process of the hitch the exhaust will get temporarily lowered so that the hitch can fit into place. It will go back to where it belongs though.
