Can you tell me if this is the correct wiring kit for my 2016 Honda Civic EX-T? I have seen that some places say it will fit when others say that it will not fit.

The Curt wiring harness part # C56496 is a universal, hardwire trailer wiring kit that will fit your 2016 Honda Civic EX-T.
I have a better solution for you though. If you don't like the idea of splicing into your brand new vehicle's trailer wiring we offer the ZCI wiring harness part # 119250KIT that will simply clamp around the wires and can sense when there is power on them through wire insulation without having to penetrate it in any way.
You will also need the power wire part # 118151 to go along with this. This is the wire that runs up to the battery to provide power for the taillights.
