Fifth Wheel Rail Location for Bed of 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Short Bed
Question:
Have an 07 dodge ram 1500 with 6foot box.Was wondering what would be the starting measurement from the end of the bed to the 1st rail.Useing a universal kit

To install the Reese universal rail kit part # RP30035 in your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 6 foot bed you will place the rear edge of the rear rail 26-5/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed.
You will then use the fifth wheel hitch to place the front rail once you have placed the rear.
