how do they hold up to a 25 mile rock pounding driving 60 mph

LEDs are very durable. While the # MCL85AB doesn't have a shock rating listed for it I can tell you that as long as you install it securely it should work just fine in whatever off-road application you are planning.
If the ride was rough enough to somehow damage this light you would have much bigger problems I am sure.
