To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 you will want to use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers # ETBC7. There is not a custom fit brake controller wiring harness available to install the P3 on your 2016 Mercedes Sprinter. I have attached an installation video of a similar brake controller on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for you.
The # ETBC7 kit will include all the needed wiring, components, and connectors needed to install the P3 brake controller. The red wire on the brake controller wiring pigtail will need to be connected to the stoplight wire that only has signal when the brake pedal is pressed. The blue wire from the controller harness will need to connect to the blue brake signal wire on the 7-way connector at the rear of the vehicle. The black wire will need to be ran to a circuit breaker and then to the positive battery terminal. Additionally, the white wire will need to be grounded at the negative battery terminal.
I have attached the installation instructions for the # ETBC7 kit for you, as well as a help article on installing a brake controller from scratch. If your Sprinter doesn't already have a 4-Way connector, you can visit a Mercedes-Benz dealer to purchase one.
