Question:
Hello, please tell me what means not class S compatible? I want to find THULE chains for our car, but Im not sure in the following dimensions of our car - between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well and between the tires sidewall and the vehicle. Thanks in advance

Class S tire chains are chains that require less than 15mm of clearance between the chains and any part of the vehicle once the chains are installed. I checked the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe owner's manual and found that Class S chains are required. Also, on all-wheel drive models like yours the manual states to use chains on all 4 wheels.
It looks like there were at least 3 stock tire sizes that could be on your Santa Fe. If it has 225/70-16 tires then for Class S Thule chains you can use # TH02230K66 which only sit on the tread and outer sidewall or # TH01594245 which are more traditional chains.
If your Santa Fe has 235/60-18 tires then for Class S Thule chains the only option is # TH02230K66.
And if your Santa Fe has 235/70-16 tires then again the only option is # TH02230K66. All of these chains come as a pair. To comply with the manual which ever chains you choose you would need to order 2 sets total.
