Question:
I have always depended on etrailer for the best advise. Thanks guys. However,I found a hitch on your site that meets all my requirements. The hitch is the CURT Class 5 Xtra Duty Trailer Hitch #15312. Your fit guide tells me that it will fit my vehicle but when I cross referenced this hitch on the Curt website, it tells me that this hitch will not fit my vehicle. Please help clear this up. Thanks again.

I checked with Curt and they list trailer hitch # C15312 as a fit for a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 or 3500, 8 foot bed with factory cutout bumper only. If your truck does not have the factory cutout bumper then I recommend # C15703 (2-1/2 inch receiver opening). If the truck has the 10 inch deep drop cowboy bumper then I recommend # C15313.
