Question:
RE:2006 Jeep Commander Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional When I searched, your store and this product came-up. The page seems to imply that it is for my 2006 Commander. Does that mean that it will come with a specific Connector? Or do I have to order a proper 2006 Jeep commander connector. as I dont want to be splicing wires

There isn't a vehicle specific brake controller wiring harness for your 2006 Jeep Commander, even if it came with a factory 7-Way. But you can still install a brake controller, # 90195, with minimal splicing. I have included a link to a video showing how you would install the brake controller. It is a different controller and a newer Commander but the installation is the same. A wiring kit, # 5506, is recommended to complete the installation.
