Span and Capacity of Locks Included with Blue Ox Towing Accessories Kit for Avail Tow Bars

Question:

A few questions regarding the locks that come with this kit. 1st, are all 3 locking pins rated to 10,000 lbs? 2nd, will the 2 inch receiver lock fit in a 2.5inch receiver if it has a reducer inserted? 3rd, can I get a 4th locking receiver pin keyed identically to three locks that come in the kit

The locking pins included with Blue Ox Towing Accessories Kit for Avail Tow Bars technically do not have an official rating but when used with the tow bar set up for flat towing they would be more than adequate for a 10,000 pound capacity.

The hitch lock has a span of 2-11/16 inches which would not be wide enough for a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening. You would need a longer one such as # e98881 which has a span of 3-5/8 inches.

A longer Blue Ox lock is not available and so could not be keyed to match the locks included with the kit.
