Question:

I have a 2010 Toyota Prius with no hitch and would like to carry 2, maybe 3 bikes. What do you recommend for a hitch and bike carrier? I dont want to pay an arm and a leg BUT do want something that is solid and easy to use.

For your 2010 Toyota Prius, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24847. It is a very economical hitch and still has the same weight capacities (200 pounds tongue weight, 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight) than the other available hitches. I recommend carrying no more than 2 bikes when using a Class I, 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch like those available for your Prius because a 3 bike rack will be heavier and it will be too easy to exceed the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch. I recommend the NEO2 Bike Rack, # B01748. This is an economical bike rack that is light weight (15 pounds), holds 2 bikes, and can carry many different sizes of bikes.
