The Brophy camper tie downs are a great budget friendly option that would work well.
The Brophy Camper Hold Down Brackets, part # HSSF are a universal-fit item that will work on most full-sized trucks, including your 2001 Ram 2500.
The brackets wrap around the bed rail, instead of using the stake pockets.
The brackets include the hardware for fastening the bracket to the truck, but we also offer hardware to attach the camper to the brackets, the kit is part # TDHP. The kit includes 4 turnbuckles, 4 S hooks and 4 lengths of chain.
