Question:
As I understand it, and the video shows, this item is designed to free up interior RV compartment space, by allowing stealthy tool storage on the back of the vehicle. But this tool box is neither waterproof, nor weatherproof, is made of metal, rather than plastic, and has a water attracting reservoir above the lock. Furthermore, in order to use it as intended, you have to buy a mounting bracket to go with it. Again, made of metal, rather than plastic. This is a really cool looking tool box, with some nice features, but do you really think its constructed properly for its intended use? Id be interested in a follow up from customers that bought this product a year or two ago, to find out if they mounted this tool box as shown, and how long it took for their tools, or the box to start rusting.

The Rampage Trail Can Locking box # RA86622 features a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish and a stainless steel lock to protect it from the elements. It is designed to fit a traditional 5-gallon jerry can mount but the optional upright mount # RA86625 is offered as well. Our customers that have purchased this item have rated it highly.
