I am curious to know if the following kit will interchange with a T Rex 14 gx gooseneck trailer. Bulldog_Gooseneck_and_Fifth_Wheel_Adapters_BD0289640300 Thank you for your assistance.

The Bulldog Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter # BD0289640300 will fit a gooseneck trailer of up to 25,000-lbs gross weight that takes a 4-inch diameter inner tube. This adapter allows such a gooseneck trailer to be towed by a 5th wheel hitch. It's 4-hole design allows for height adjustment.

I was not able to find specs on your Big Tex 14GX trailer but if it uses a 4-inch-diameter inner tube the Bulldog adapter # BD0289640300 will fit.

Will this work for a hotshot trailer with 40,000 GVW?

@Robert No, it will not because the Bulldog item # BD0289640300 is only rated to 25,000 lbs. The closest option we have to 40,000 lbs is item # KPG5-R30IP which tops out at 30,000 lbs.
