White Grease Recommendation for Windshield Wiper Gearbox

Question:

I have often encountered white grease in many products that I have purchased. I have been advised to use white grease on my windscreen wiper gearbox. The product recommended is a Zinc Oxide grease. Many of the white greases that I have found are Lithium greases and some say that they contain Zinc Oxide. I am now thoroughly confused and need expert advice. Thank you

The white grease like the part # L11354 that you referenced is what you are looking for.

Zinc is added to this general-purpose grease, giving it a white color so you can easily see it. You can tell when all the old grease has been replaced in a fitting because it will come out dark, whereas the new grease will look clean and white.
