If your RV steps extend more slowly with new motor # LC301695 than they used to with their original motor in place then the issue is likely to be either a weak electrical/ground connection to the motor, a mechanical problem with the step hinge mechanism or that the motor is not geared the same way as the original. I would start off checking the ground since this is the easiest thing to fix.
If you can hear the motor operate and see the steps move as soon as you hit the extend switch then this suggests you may have the wrong replacement motor. If you hear the motor working but the steps do not start to extend right away then you may have the motor mounted in such a way that it does not make proper contact with the gear plate (part SP164348B is the gear plate for triple steps). You may also be missing a motor spacer, part # LC128958, which keeps the motor properly suspended. If there is any odd noise as the steps operate that suggests a damaged step mechanism or one that may need to be lubricated.
If you suspect that your RV's electrical connector for the motor has any corrosion at all then I suggest a spray-on contact cleaner like Caig De-Oxit and an application of dielectric grease like # LT37534 to help keep those clean contacts clean.
If you have a circuit tester like # PTW2993 you can test the power at the RV wiring to see if it is delivering the full 12V required for the steps.
