I am interested in a roof rack for the 97 Buick Century. How do they clamp onto the car? Is the rack easy to install? Is it permanent?

The roof rack I recommend for your 1997 Century is the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack. This roof rack comes with a custom fit kit that is designed to fit the contour of your door jambs. With the foot pack and crossbars you will have a nice roof rack that will work well for you. You can put the roof rack on and take it off the vehicle any time you wish, as it is not a permanent installation.
To order this roof rack you will need part # INB117, part # INSUT, and part # INK214.
To help cut down on wind drag and noise I recommend the Inno Fairing for Roof Racks, part # INA261.
