I wanted to order the D13504 to run inline with my current transmission cooler. I have a 04 chevy 2500HD. From what I have read, it should fit in as a secondary cooler. Is that correct?.

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504 will work great as a secondary transmission cooler for your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. The Derale # D13504 measures 11 inches wide x 12 inches tall x 7/8 inches deep.
In addition to the cooler, you will also want the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM # D13035. This fitting will connect the radiator to the transmission cooler quickly and easily without having to cut or flare lines.
I have attached 2 help articles on transmission coolers for you, as well as a video of the cooler being installed on a GMC Yukon. The installation on your Silverado will be very similar.
