Published 11/10/2015 >
Question:
What are the dimensions of the back holes where Id attach a rod to connect two of these together? Im making doors for on top of a fire truck and I want them to be able to open it from the front or back. The latches will be 86-9foot apart O.C. Id also like to know the depth of the lock, and the distance behind the indicated holes. Attached is a picture for reference.

I went to our warehouse and pulled one of the Replacement Locking paddle Handle, part # UWSLOCKING to take some of the measurements you asked about.
The smaller hole on the back measures right at 1/4 inch and the larger hole next to it measures just under 1/2 inch. The distance between the arm with the holes to the back of the mounting plate of the lock is between 1-1/4 and 1/1/2 inches, and the overall depth of the lock is just under 1.64 inches.
