Question:
I have a 2005 Chevy 1500HD. It is equipped with a cooler in the radiator tank and a small plate and fin style in front of the a/c condenser. The cooler is not big enough. I want to replace the plate and fun with a larger unit. I want to use the factory lines to hookup to the new cooler. Do you have a cooler or fittings that will allow use of the factory lines?

We do offer a solution that would let you add a supplemental cooler and utilize the factory transmission lines. You'll still need to use the rubber lines included with the cooler to join the cooler to the factory lines. The most efficient place to install the cooler is directly behind the grille in front of the A/C condenser and the radiator.
Ideally, you'll want to choose the largest cooler that will fit in the space available. The Derale # D13504 measures 11x12 would work very well for you. The # D13035 fitting would allow you to tap into the existing transmission lines without needing to cut anything.
I've linked you to an installation video showing a cooler being installed on a GMC Yukon. The procedure would be just about identical on your Silverado. I've also linked you to some FAQ articles that I hope you'll find helpful.
