I need to find out what size bolts are needed to install the side bolts on my 2012 chev equnox

There are a couple of ways to get the correct hardware to install a trailer hitch on your 2012 Chevy Equinox. First, you could order replacement hardware kit # RHK. Enter the hitch part number and choose the manufacturer to get the proper kit for that hitch.
The other way is to try to find the individual parts that match the OEM bolts in size, material, and grade locally. But not all of the hitch hardware is common enough to be obtained locally. I can tell you what hardware is used if you can tell me which hitch you have. I have included a link to the hitches for the 2012 Equinox.
