Troubleshooting LED Trailer Clearance Light that Isnt Turning On

Question:
Took my ground wire ran a small bolt, washer, and nut on the correct side Of light. Took the black wire from back of light and tied it to hot wire. Nothing ! Have in hook to my head lights, for running lights Not sure what Ive done . Please help

Sounds like you are on the right track for installing the Mini Clearance light part # MC11AB as it grounds through the mounting hole with the metal tab on it and is powered by the black wire that runs to it.
To find the problem though you will want to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to first test the wire you used to power the light for voltage when the running lights are on. If that looks fine then you will need to check to make sure the ground is good. Where you ran the bolt on the trailer frame needs to be a clean metal surface that touches the trailer frame.
