Question:
Need to purchase a trailer hitch receiver as the one on the vehicle was stolen. Here is what I am looking at: C13087 Its for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner. Do you have any break-away bolts or something you would recommend short of welding it to the frame? Thanks

The Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # C13087 is a great option for your 1999 Toyota 4Runner.
Welding is how we suggest the hitch be secured to the frame. There is nothing like a breakaway bolt like you referenced that would secure the hitch to your vehicle. We do not recommend using different hardware than what is supplied with the hitch.
