Question:
Question for George J. Because of the special front end on my 34 Chevy I am not able to tie down via axles but have to put axle straps through wheels. I have chosen # 88509 axle straps, will these work OK through my Torq Thrust wheels? Also wanted to use # EM58509 tie-down straps with Mutiplier ratchet but was wondering if I can get straps loner than 7. Would appreciate comments or other product suggestions.

You should be fine securing your '34 Chevy by its Torq Thrust wheels but you'll want to wrap the strap around the wheel and tire and not just one of the spokes. The Erickson Axle Strap with D-Rings # 88509 is 24-inches long and so should give you plenty of room.
For a ratchet with more length than the 7-foot Erickson you might consider the Bulldog Combo Axle/Ratcheting Tie-Down Strap # BDW20229. This serves as both an axle strap (for your wheel) and a 10-foot ratcheting tie down rated for 10,000-lb break strength (3335-lbs working load limit). This one item could replace both of the parts you referenced.
