Question:
2006 dodge 2500 5.9 Cummings with tow package. What fitting should be used with your 13504 trans cooler, and will the rubber lines hold the pressure I have steel lines. Also how do I identify the hot and return lines on my existing trans cooler. Is the top line the hot.

There is no special fitting required to install a supplemental transmission cooler such as # D13504 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with 5.9 liter diesel. You would use the included Insta-dapt radiator adapter. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
On your truck the transmission return line is the rear line. To verify this you can start the truck cold, shift into drive while holding your foot on the brake for about 15 seconds, shift back into park and turn off the motor. If you feel the transmission lines one will be cooler than the other. That cooler line is the transmission line.
The included hose is designed for high temperature and fluid pressure so it will work with the steel lines on your truck.
