Question:
item info states 11 inch long x 6 inch wide x 2-1/2 thick. Ive never seen a backup light that big. Will it fit my Bargman series 84-86 as stated ?

Actually the Bargman Light Upgrade part # 47-84-026 measures 4-1/4" wide x 5-5/8" high x 1-1/8" thick. The dimensions you listed are for the entire light assembly and not just the panel.
This will fit your 84-86 Series Bargman taillight assembly.
