can you put a 225 on a trailer that came with 205 x15 on it

You might be able to use a 225/75-15 tire in place of a 205/75-15 tire. First, the wheels need to be the right size. If the width of the wheel is 6 or 6-1/2 inches where the tire sits then the 225 will fit. To get an accurate measurement the tire would have to be off the wheel. The overall width would be about 1 inch wider at most.
The 225 is also going to be wider and taller than the 205. It will be 1.3 inches taller and 0.8 inches wider. You will need to make sure you have enough clearance all around the existing tires for the larger size.
