Question:

I have the Swagman upright roof bike rack is there any way to lock the rack to the roof rack? Can I use the swagman locking knob? Any other ideas would be appreciated too. Like tamper proof screws. Thanks

We have a lock that would work for your Swagman Upright Roof Bike Carrier, part # S64720, although none of the locks we have are designed specifically for this purpose.

I recommend the Rightline Cable Lock, part # RL100640. You can feed one end of the cable through the holes in the bike rack tray and set the combination you choose to secure the bike rack to your crossbars.

If you prefer a longer cable lock I recommend the 10 Ft Long Cable Lock, part # e98891. This is a 5/16 inch diameter cable that is 10 ft long you could wrap around the bike rack and crossbars.
