Question:
Hello - We were given a Thule Mountaineer and would like to mount it on our 2005 Honda Pilot. What cross bars and mounting kit do we need? Our pilot has the bars running from the front to back, so we just need the cross bars to attach to. Thanks!

In order to mount the Thule Mountaineer cargo box on your 2005 Honda Pilot, you can use Thule SquareBars, # TH712200, and Evo raised rail foot pack, # TH710401.
I have included a short video for you.
For added convenience in loading and unloading the cargo box, we also offer the HitchMate TireStep, # HE4040. This stable platform provides a step to access roof mounted accessories with ease.
I always like to remind everyone to check the roof capacity of their vehicle before loading any cargo onto the roof. Exceeding the roof weight capacity could damage your vehicle.
