Will Front Mount Trailer Hitch, # 31367, Fit a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with Trail Team Package

Question:

I have a 2008 FJ cruiser with the trail teams package. There is a grill guard that comes standard with the 2008 trail teams package. Will this grill guard interfere with the installation of this front hitch? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Curt on whether or not the Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 31367, can be installed on your 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with the grille guard in place. While he did not have any notes stated that it would not fit the Trail Team package models, he could not say for sure that it would fit.

I have included a link to the instructions below. Take a look at the mounting points for the hitch and then where the grille guard is mounted on your FJ Cruiser. If they use any of the same mounting locations, the hitch cannot be installed. I have also included a link to a video install of the hitch to give you a better idea of the mounting locations and the hitch positioning.
