Replacement Straps for a Bike Carrier and Montague Mountain Bike with 4 Inch Tall Frame

Question:
Looking to find replacement cradle and traps......for My Montague mountain bikes which have a 1.75 w x 4inch top frame. I would think the cradle is wide enough, but the hold down strap is very questionable. Will the strap fit a 4inch high frame to snap on over the top without over streching? ???

I measured the amount of space from the bottom of a cradle to the strap in the widest position and on # HR750-P it was only 2-3/4 inches unstretched so it would not work with a 4 inch tall frame.
Straps # 8890221 are 9 inches long so you are looking at approximately 4-1/2 inches of possible space, depending on the cradle, minus about 1/2 inch for the material at the ends of the straps and that takes it down to approximately 4 inches, loner when stretched. I believe this set is going to be the best option out of the straps we carry.
