Question:
What is the best way to remove an old wobble roller retainer ring from the roller shaft? I keep breaking them and leaving the end in the hole in the shaft

Taking the retainer ring like part # CE10981 out when removing a wobble roller can be tricky, particularly when they tend to break. My best recommendation is to use two needle nose pliers if you can get a good grip when removing the ring. You can grab both sides at one time and hopefully not have one end slip inside the roller shaft if it should break.
