my trailer light wiring has a grn wire and a brn wires on the right. it has a tan and yel on the left. The Optronuics 3 plug has a red wire and blk wire plug. the white ground I know. What wire connects to what? light is stop/turn/tail

Helpful Expert Reply:
On the Optronics 3-wire plugs the white is ground, red is turn signal/brake lights, and the black is for running lights.
On your trailer green is likely the right turn signal/brake light wire, brown and tan are most likely running lights, and yellow is most likely left turn signal/brake lights.
You will need to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to test the wires on the trailer to confirm.
