Question:
Hello. I have a 2007 Chevy Malibu Maxx with a naked roof. I need to transport a canoe. Will this rack work on its own, or do I need to purchase an additional cross bar rack to attach it to?

Expert Reply:
The Yakima Crossbar Pads part # Y07413 that you referenced will work as a canoe carrier for your 2007 Chevy Malibu Maxx, but it will first require you to install a roof rack on your vehicle.
For that you would want the Inno rack for your vehicle that consists of part numbers # INXB108-2, # INXS200, and # INK521.
