We have just what you are looking for. If you have a 2 inch receiver on your 2001 Durango I recommend the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch, part # RP7065100.
This adapter attaches to your 2 inch receiver and gives you a 5/8 inch hole for the clevis pin on the ATV trailer you just purchased. This adapter does have a 200 lb tongue weight capacity and a 2,000 lb towing weight capacity, and a 2-1/2 inch rise.
For a higher capacity ball mount check out part # 80410. This ball mount has a weight capacity of 6,000 lbs and features a 1-1/4 or 3 inch drop.
