You can use a front mount hitch such as # C31018 for a bike carrier. But there are a few things you will need to be aware of. When the bikes are loaded on the carrier they can reduce driver visibility and somewhat restrict airflow to the motor. In some cases they can also block the front lights on the vehicle.
Reduced visibility and airflow to the motor probably will not be an issue in most cases. But if the lights are blocked you would have to remove the wheels on the bikes.
