Question:

is this head able to be used with a sidewinder? i just bought a curt hitch from you guys that leaves a good amount of play where the sidewinder should be locked into the hitch so it is actually sideways while going down the road

The Curt Q-series 5th wheel hitches are NOT compatible with Sidewinders! They are compatible with the E-series Curt hitches though. I checked your order and you did get a 16K E-Series hitch and wedge kit # RP64FR. The key with the wedges is that they need to be installed exactly as the instructions state. Any other orientation will not work.

If the 5th wheel trailer is not tracking straight then the wedge is not in the right position or has come out of the right position.
