The front end of your 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn is the same as the non-Sport models of the Ram so for a base plate kit for your truck you would want the # 52289-1. This will work well with your Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520 as long as the weight of your truck is under 6,000 lbs. Otherwise you would need to upgrade the tow bar to the Roadmaster Blackhawk part # RM-422 as it has a 10k capacity.

From the research I did the weight of your truck is right under 6k, so you might verify that it does weigh less than 6k and that you don't put any cargo in the truck as it would put it over the capacity.

For lighting, if you will not be towing the Ram often I recommend a magnetic light kit, # RM-2120. Or for a more permanent solution you can use diode kit # RM-154.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. It will apply the Ram brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

For the braking system to work properly you will also need a stop light switch kit # RM-751460 and 12 volt outlet kit # RM-9332 is also recommended. The switch kit allows the indicator light with the braking system to work properly so that you know the brake pedal on the truck is actually moving.
