Question:
I have a new Aluma 16foot car trailer and I want to install e-track on the deck. what do you recommend mounting the e-track to so that I achieve the maximum strength available? The car will be 3000-3500lbs and I am planning to use e-track tire straps on all four wheels.

If it were my trailer I would fasten the E-Track to the support beams under the trailer, either the side to side one or front to back ones, by going all the way through those support beams. E-Track like # E19148 is zinc-coated steel and since the trailer is aluminum you would want to paint the bottom of the E-Track. Otherwise the dissimilar metals can cause corrosion to start.
Be sure to also consider the fasteners used. Zinc-coated fasteners could be used but you will want to spray some paint in the areas there the fasteners are under the trailer.
For E-Track wheel tie downs we have # EM58523.
