Has it been determined if the plug and play connectors work or is it still a splicing of wires for a 4 flat trailer plug?

For your 2014 Subaru Impreza hatchback you would have to use a hardwire harness for trailer wiring like the part # 119179KIT. The plug and play harness like the # 118581 will only fit the sedans.
