Are RV Water Filter Housings Universal

Question:
are all these filter units universal? I have a 2010 cedar crest 5th wheel camper that has a similar unit. the tank part cracked.

According to my contact at Camco, the filter cartridges are pretty universal, but because there's so many companies making them out there, he wouldn't be comfortable with calling the housing that holds the filter universal.
Your best bet would be to replace the entire unit, so you'll be assured of getting compatible parts.
