Question:
I have a 2014 Audi Allroad and installed a Curt hitch without wiring harness to use with our 1-1/4inch bike rack. I now want to tow a small trailer very light and am having trouble finding the appropriate wiring harness. Your site says contact your Audi dealer but they dont appear to have them here in the US. Any advice? Do you have a universal wiring setup? Thanks

Your best bet would be to use a universal harness like part # 119250KIT. Installation would involve looking at the table listed in Step 1 of the instructions (see link) and determining which of the 6 possibilities matches the taillight system on your Audi. You'll need a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to probe the wires in the taillight wiring harnesses to determine which wires carry which signal. Once you determine which possibility matches your vehicle, wire the harness according to the instructions.
You'll need to route a power wire from the converter box to the positive battery terminal. I've linked to an FAQ article that specifically addresses how to do this.
