7 way trailer connector wiring diagram for 2003 chevy Silverado

I have included a picture showing how a vehicle side 7-Way trailer connector is wired. The colors may not match up to what is on your 2003 Chevy Silverado though. This is in part because vehicle manufacturers can use whatever color they want for any given function since there is no standard.
If you do not already have a 7-Way connector that the wires are attached to you will have to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to determine the wire functions.
