Question:

I want to add a roof rack to my new 2015 Dodge Caravan. After looking through my owners manual I found a warning that no holes can be drilled into the roof because of the side curtain airbags that run along the out side edge of the roof. I have had some installers say they can do it and others say they cannot. The dealer I bought the vehicle from says they have an installer that can install them but other dealerships have told me no. Do you have any information on how I could safely install the roof rack or should it not be done period.

I would recommend going by the owner's manual, personally, and not drill into the roof of your 2015 Dodge Caravan because airbags are not something you want to mess with. I simply wouldn't risk damaging the airbags, especially if you are transporting little ones.

I would recommend instead going with a roof rack for a naked roof like the Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack which consists of the following parts:
