My car hauler has a low lower tongue than expected. The ball hitch on the trailer is three inches lower than the ball hitch will adjust too on the truck. I have the ball set at its lowest position tilted back!!. what do I need to do? The trailer is still tilted up in the front..

How much is the drop on the weight distribution shank you are using now? We may have one that offers more drop. If not the only other option is to raise the height of the trailer. To do this the leaf spring stack must be below the axle(s) and they must be double eye leaf springs.
We have 2 conversion kits that will allow you to move the spring stacks to the top of the axle. Use # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8 inch diameter round axles or # K71-385-00 for 3 inch diameter round axles. One kit will be needed per axle.
If you do not have an axle size listed above, use slipper springs, or the leaf spring stacks are already on top of the axles then to raise the height of the trailer you would need to have the current spring hangers cut off and new taller ones welded on by a qualified welder. I have included a link to the hanger main page for you.
